There is no built-in Calendly Square integration. Calendly takes payments only through Stripe or PayPal, and a Calendly community moderator says you can't connect another payment provider directly. To use them together, people do three things: link both to the same Google Calendar so they don't double book, put a Square payment link on Calendly's confirmation page, or use Zapier to make a Square customer or invoice for each new booking. Where it stops: Calendly can't see whether the Square payment came in, Square bookings can land on a calendar Calendly doesn't check, and refunds and no-shows are matched by hand. AI agents do that matching.
What a Calendly Square integration has to do
Many coaches, studios and clinics book with one tool and get paid with another.
Clients book a time in Calendly. The money, the customer list and the sales report live in Square.
So connected has to mean three things. A client who books in Calendly shows up as a customer in Square. Each booking is paid for, or someone follows up before the visit. And the same hour can't be booked twice, once in Calendly and once in Square Appointments.
Ways to connect Calendly and Square
Neither program builds a connection to the other, so each of these joins them from the outside.
A shared Google Calendar
- How it works
- Calendly checks the calendars you select for conflicts and adds new bookings to one of them. Square Appointments can link a Google Calendar with Import and Export, so Square bookings go to Google and busy Google events block time in Square.
- Good for
- Businesses that take bookings in both Calendly and Square Appointments and keep getting double booked.
- Where it breaks
- Square's guide says this needs Square Appointments Plus or Premium, and imported events land as personal blocks, not appointments. A Square community request from 2025 says Square puts bookings on a separate Square calendar in Google, so Calendly can miss them unless you set it to check that calendar too.
A Square payment link on Calendly's confirmation page
- How it works
- You make a payment link in Square under Payments, Payment links. Then you add it to the Calendly event's confirmation page and booking emails, so the client pays after they book.
- Good for
- Taking payment in Square for a Calendly booking without moving to Stripe or PayPal.
- Where it breaks
- The Calendly moderator who suggested this says Calendly doesn't track these payments, so you have to check that each client paid before the meeting. Nothing ties the payment to the booking.
A Zapier zap
- How it works
- Zapier's Calendly trigger Invitee Created or Rescheduled can find or create a Square customer, and create and send a Square invoice. Invitee Canceled and Invitee No Show Created can start other steps.
- Good for
- Adding each new client to Square and sending the invoice as soon as they book.
- Where it breaks
- Reschedules, cancellations and refunds each need their own steps. Zapier lists Refund Payment for Square, but deciding when a refund is owed is a rule you write, and a zap that fails doesn't tell anyone.
Arkeo agents
- How it works
- Agents read each new Calendly booking, make or find the client in Square, send the payment link or invoice, and check the day before that each visit is paid. They catch double bookings across both calendars and follow up on no-shows.
- Good for
- Businesses that book in Calendly, get paid in Square, and check one against the other by hand.
- Where it breaks
- Anything your rules keep for a person, like a refund or a client who keeps missing visits, goes to the owner in one message.
How to connect Calendly and Square: the steps
These follow Calendly's and Square's own guides. Open them for the screens.
- 1
Set the calendars Calendly checksIn Calendly, go to Settings, Scheduling, then Calendars, and connect Google Calendar. Under Calendars to check for conflicts, select all the calendars that hold bookings, including the one Square uses.
- 2
Link Google Calendar in Square AppointmentsIn Square Dashboard, go to Appointments, Settings, then Calendar & booking. Under Manage calendar sync, click Link Google Calendar, select Import and Export, and match the Google calendar to the staff member's Square calendar.
- 3
Make a Square payment linkIn Square Dashboard, open Payment links under your Payments menu and click Create link. Set the link type and price, and add up to two custom fields, like the booking date.
- 4
Add the link to the Calendly bookingAdd the payment link to the event's confirmation page and booking emails in Calendly. Then keep a list of who has booked and who has paid, since Calendly won't track it.
What still has to be done by hand
The calendar keeps times apart and the link takes the money. Knowing which booking each payment belongs to is the work in the middle.
Calendly can't see Square payments. Calendly's payments guide lists Stripe and PayPal only, and a Calendly community moderator says other providers can't be connected directly. With a Square link on the confirmation page, Calendly doesn't track the payment, so someone checks each booking against Square before the visit.
Double bookings slip through. Calendly only blocks times for busy events on the calendars you select. Square sends its bookings to a separate Square calendar in Google, and a 2025 feature request on Square's community, still open, says those bookings didn't block time on the person's main Google calendar. Square also says events must be edited in the calendar where they were made.
Changes don't carry. When a client reschedules or cancels in Calendly, the Square invoice or payment stays as it was. Calendly's own Stripe guide says refunds are done by hand. No-shows, credits and partial refunds are tracked in someone's head or a sheet. Businesses that connect Square to QuickBooks then find those gaps again at month end.

Questions
Is my customers' information safe?
Yes. Agents work in your own Calendly and Square and see only what their job needs. Customer details never go into public AI. Agents connect to AI through business-grade connections audited under SOC 2.
Can Calendly take payments through Square?
Not directly. Calendly's payments guide lists Stripe and PayPal as the processors you can connect. A Calendly community moderator suggests adding a link to your own payment provider on the confirmation page, and notes Calendly won't track those payments.
How do I stop double bookings between Calendly and Square Appointments?
Link both to the same Google Calendar. In Square Appointments, use Import and Export. In Calendly, add all the calendars that hold bookings to the list it checks for conflicts, including the Square calendar. Only events marked busy block time. Booking and rebooking clients is also a job agents do at the front desk.
Can Zapier send Calendly bookings to Square?
Yes. Zapier's Calendly trigger Invitee Created or Rescheduled can create a Square customer and create and send a Square invoice. Teams that also track clients in a CRM add a step, the way they connect HubSpot to Square.
What does it cost?
You get the price on the call, along with the hours it saves your team.
