The QuickBooks work your team does by hand, done by agents

QuickBooks
The short answer

AI agents can get payroll ready, build and send invoices from the work done, flag unpaid bills, and send your sales and revenue reports each week, all inside your own QuickBooks Online. An admin approves the connection once, and nothing gets installed.

Where the hours go in QuickBooks

QuickBooks holds your money, but the work that feeds it happens somewhere else: visits in a scheduling app, orders in a store, hours on a timesheet. QuickBooks and the apps you connect to it cover part of that, then stop. Billable time only shows up as something to add to a new invoice, so someone still builds each invoice. Automatic reminders go out only for invoices you've already emailed, three at most, so the chasing after that is a person's job. Scheduled report emails work only for saved custom reports, and not on Simple Start. A connected app like the Square connector puts sales in a For review list that someone confirms, and a new customer can't be added while a supplier or employee already has the same name. When a connector changes, the clean up lands on your team too: in 2026, owners on Intuit's forum wrote that an update pulled in two years of old Square sales, and they deleted thousands of entries by hand. For a 10 to 50 person business, this work in the middle is often a full day each week: counting hours for payroll, building invoices from finished work, chasing late bills and pulling the same numbers for the Monday meeting. That is the work agents take on.

5 jobs agents can do in QuickBooks

Each agent does one job from start to finish and works in your own QuickBooks. Your team talks to them in Slack or Teams.

How agents connect to QuickBooks

You make the key in your own QuickBooks account. Nothing to install on your computers.

Agents can see
  • Invoices, payments and what's unpaid
  • Customers, employees and items
  • Time entries
  • Sales and profit and loss reports
Agents can change
  • Invoices, and sending them
  • Customers and items
  • Time entries for payroll
  • Notes on invoices
Agents can't
  • See your bank logins. QuickBooks never shares them.
  • Reconcile your bank or close your books. That stays with your bookkeeper.
  • Get back in after you disconnect the app.

What QuickBooks works with

Agents carry the work from the software where it starts into QuickBooks, so nothing waits for someone to copy it over.

Questions

Is my customers' information safe?

Yes. Each agent sees only what its job needs, in your own QuickBooks. Your bank logins stay with QuickBooks. Agents connect to AI through business-grade connections audited under SOC 2.

Will the agents change my books?

They do the work your process allows, like building an invoice or getting payroll ready, and your team checks what your process says a person checks.

Which QuickBooks do I need?

QuickBooks Online. Only an admin on your company can connect apps, so an admin signs in and approves the connection.

Doesn't QuickBooks already send payment reminders?

Yes, up to three, and only for invoices you've already emailed. Agents take the part after that: each week they flag who still hasn't paid, with the invoice and how late it is, and tell your team who to call.

Can I turn it off?

Yes. An admin disconnects the app in QuickBooks, under Integrations, then Manage integrations, and the agents lose access.

What does it cost?

You get the price on the call, along with the hours it saves your team.
