Two AI agents do it for you. One watches your Checkfront bookings every 5 minutes and catches each new or changed booking. The other builds the missing shifts in Sling, checks each one against the booking, and sends each guide and driver tomorrow's run.
Why the copying happens
Bookings live in Checkfront. Shifts live in Sling. The plan for the day often lives in a spreadsheet. Checkfront gives your team logins, not a guide schedule: its own help says to print the Daily Manifest, or email it as a PDF, for guides who don't have access. Sling's integrations page lists restaurant and shop tills, not Checkfront. And Checkfront's Zapier app can only start a step when a booking is new or changed, so someone still has to build the shift. That is why someone on your team reads each booking and types it in again.
A time changes or a group grows, the shift isn't updated, and you find out when the guide shows up. A printed manifest doesn't change when the booking does. The busier the season, the more of the office's day goes into copying.
The fix, step by step
- 1
Watch each bookingThe Checkfront Booking Agent reads the next 14 days of bookings every 5 minutes: tour, date, times, guest count and vehicle. An admin makes its key under Manage, then Developer.
- 2
Catch what changed
It compares each booking to the last pass. A new booking, a moved time or more guests all count as a change.
- 3
Build the missing shiftsA booking that needs staff goes to the Sling Shift Agent, which creates each shift in Sling with the position, time and vehicle. It signs in as a Sling manager, the role that can create shifts.
- 4
Check each shift
It checks each shift against its booking, so a wrong time or vehicle gets caught before the trip.
- 5
Send tomorrow's runEach day at five, each guide and driver gets their run for tomorrow. Anything that needs a person goes to your office in one Slack message.
The agents that do it
Each agent does one job from start to finish, and they pass the work between them. Your team talks to them in Slack or Teams.
A changed booking gets caught that day, not on the day of the trip.

Your version follows how your office works: which changes matter, how far ahead to look, your positions and vehicles, and who hears about what. We map that with you after a 15-minute call, and your agents are live in about 14 days.
Questions
Is my customers' information safe?
Yes. The agents work in your own Checkfront and Sling accounts and read only the bookings and shifts their job needs. Guest details never go into public AI. Agents connect to AI through business-grade connections audited under SOC 2.
Do I need to change how we use Checkfront?
No. Your team keeps booking the way it does today. The agents work from what is already in Checkfront.
Can Zapier connect Checkfront to Sling?
Zapier can start a step when a Checkfront booking is new or changed. Building the shift, checking it against the booking and sending tomorrow's run are still steps someone has to build and look after. The agents do those steps and tell your office when something needs a person.
What if we don't use Sling?
The same job works with the schedule you use, including a spreadsheet. We go over your setup on the call.
What does it cost?
You get the price on the call, along with the hours it saves your team.
