Motion AI Employees are AI helpers that work inside Motion, like Chip, the AI sales rep, and Alfred, the AI executive assistant. Motion's team pages still show seven of them, but the old AI Employees page now sends you to Motion's home page, the help articles are gone, and the pricing page sells Pro AI and Business AI plans with monthly AI credits. Where they stop: they work from what your team keeps in Motion, and nothing is sent or scheduled until a person approves it. If you want AI that does whole jobs in the software you already run, look at the alternatives below.
What happened to Motion AI Employees
If you open Motion's AI Employees page today, you land on Motion's home page. The help articles that explained AI Employees return a page not found, and Motion's menu and pricing page don't name them.
They have not vanished. Motion's pages for sales teams and executive teams still call Motion the AI employee work platform and show seven AI employees: Alfred, the executive assistant; Chip, the sales rep; Clide, for customer support; Dot, the recruiter; Millie, the project manager; Spec, the researcher; and Suki, the marketing associate. You can also describe a custom AI employee, and Motion builds it. Because the main page and the help articles are gone, ask Motion in a demo what your plan includes today.
What Motion sells now
Motion calls itself the productivity platform for the AI era. It puts your tasks, projects, calendar, docs, notes and meetings in one app, with AI in each part. The AI Task Planner sorts your tasks by priority and deadline and plans your day on your calendar. The AI Project Manager builds a project in seconds and keeps track of its status. AI Workflows turns your written steps for a process into a project with tasks given to the right people. The AI Meeting Notetaker takes notes and can send a follow-up email to everyone who attended.
AI Chat does multi-step work, like prepping tomorrow's meeting or listing overdue invoices and drafting collection emails, using what is in your Motion projects, docs, meetings, calendars and sheets. Motion connects to Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud Calendar, Gmail, Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Siri, and to other apps through Zapier and its own API. Its plans are Pro AI and Business AI, and each seat gets a set number of AI credits a month.

| How work starts | You plan in Motion, or ask AI Chat or an AI employee | On its own schedule, or when something changes in your software |

| Checking the work | AI drafts, you approve | The agent checks its own work and flags what doesn't match |
| Best for | Teams who want one app to plan and run their projects | Teams of 10 to 50 who want whole jobs done |
Where Motion's AI employees stop
They work from what is in Motion. Motion's sales team page says it plainly: because Motion houses all of your work, AI employees gain full context. Email reaches Motion when you forward it, and Motion turns it into a task. If your deals live in a CRM and your invoices in QuickBooks, someone keeps Motion's projects and sheets up to date so the AI has the facts.
They wait for a yes. Motion says AI Chat drafts tasks, emails and updates, and nothing is sent or scheduled until you approve it. Clide, the support employee, works the same way: you approve in a click. That means a person reads and approves each send.
AI use is metered. Motion's pricing page gives each seat a monthly number of AI credits, with a higher number on Business AI.
It takes time to learn. Trustpilot's summary of recent reviews says some users found the advanced project features hard to find their way around at first, and some were unhappy with charges after a free trial.
AI in a productivity app vs agents in your own systems
Motion's AI is strongest on the work that lives in Motion: plans, tasks, docs and meetings. Much of a business's work lives somewhere else. Deals are in the CRM. Invoices are in QuickBooks. Tasks may sit in ClickUp because that is where your team already works.
An agent built around one job works in those places. It logs the email in HubSpot, checks off the task in ClickUp when the reply lands, and flags what is late, without anyone moving to a new app.

If you wanted AI that does the work, not only plans it, these are the main kinds of help.

Questions
Is my customers' information safe?
Yes. Agents work in your own accounts and see only what each job needs. Customer details never go into public AI. Agents connect to AI through business-grade connections audited under SOC 2.
Does Motion still sell AI Employees?
Motion's sales and executive team pages still show AI employees like Chip and Alfred. The dedicated AI Employees page now sends you to the home page, the help articles are gone, and the pricing page lists Pro AI and Business AI plans without naming them. Ask Motion in a demo what your plan includes.
What are the best Motion AI Employees alternatives?
Sintra or Marblism for AI helpers in marketing, the inbox and calls. Zapier if you want to build your own AI steps. Arkeo if you want whole jobs done inside your own software, set up and run for you.
Do I have to move my tasks to a new app to use agents?
No. Agents work in the software you already use, like ClickUp, Gmail, HubSpot or QuickBooks.
What does it cost?
You get the price on the call, along with the hours it saves your team.
