A Klaviyo NetSuite integration usually runs through an outside app. Cazoomi's SyncApps sends NetSuite saved searches to Klaviyo lists, Celigo has a template, and Zapier has ready-made zaps. You can also export a saved search from NetSuite and import it to a Klaviyo list by hand. Each one moves people across. Where it stops: phone and wholesale orders in NetSuite don't start Klaviyo flows unless something sends them as order events, SyncApps lets NetSuite win when the two disagree, and a CSV import sends nothing back. Checking that the right people get the right emails is the work AI agents do.
Why a Klaviyo NetSuite integration matters
NetSuite knows who your customers are and what they bought, including wholesale buyers and orders that never touch your web store. Klaviyo sends the emails and texts. When the two don't talk, Klaviyo only knows about some of your customers' orders. A customer who just ordered by phone gets a win-back email. A buyer who asked to stop hearing from you is still on a list.
So "connected" means NetSuite's customers and orders reach Klaviyo in time to put people on the right lists and flows, and unsubscribes in Klaviyo get back to NetSuite, where your sales team sees them.
Four ways to connect Klaviyo and NetSuite
Three are outside apps, and one you can do today with a spreadsheet.
Cazoomi's SyncApps
- How it works
- SyncApps sends NetSuite saved searches to Klaviyo lists, with your custom fields, on the schedule you set. It sends campaign results back to NetSuite and can start a Klaviyo autoresponder when a NetSuite field changes.
- Good for
- Companies that want lists built from NetSuite, with email results and opt-outs going back to NetSuite.
- Where it breaks
- Cazoomi says NetSuite always wins when the two disagree, so a wrong value in NetSuite spreads to Klaviyo.
A Celigo template
- How it works
- Celigo's Klaviyo and NetSuite template comes with one flow: it saves people Klaviyo excludes from mailing as contacts in NetSuite.
- Good for
- Companies that already use Celigo for NetSuite and have someone to build flows.
- Where it breaks
- The template covers only that one flow. Sending customers, orders and lists the other way is a project you build and keep up.
A Zapier zap
- How it works
- Zapier's ready-made zaps create Klaviyo events from new NetSuite records, create or update Klaviyo profiles, and add new NetSuite records to a Klaviyo list.
- Good for
- Simple rules, like adding each new NetSuite customer to a welcome list.
- Where it breaks
- Each rule is a zap you build and watch, and NetSuite is a Premium app.
A saved search and a CSV import
- How it works
- You build a saved search of customers in NetSuite, export it as a CSV, and import the file to a Klaviyo list, matching each column to a Klaviyo field.
- Good for
- A one-time move, or a small list you update now and then.
- Where it breaks
- It's out of date the day after, and unsubscribes in Klaviyo don't flow back.
Arkeo agents
- How it works
- Agents pull new customers and orders from NetSuite each day, update each person and list in Klaviyo, and check that each flow still sends. They flag anyone getting the wrong emails, and each Monday send what each campaign and flow earned.
- Good for
- Stores and wholesalers whose customer facts live in NetSuite and whose email sales depend on Klaviyo.
- Where it breaks
- Anything your rules keep for a person, like a consent question or a big list change, goes to your marketing lead in one message.
Set it up by hand: NetSuite to a Klaviyo list
Oracle and Klaviyo have the full screens.
- 1
Export a saved search from NetSuiteMake a customer search with email, name and Internal ID. Run it and click Export - CSV.
- 2
Get the file ready
Put email addresses in the first column. Keep the file to 50 MB or less, and split a bigger one into more than one CSV.
- 3
Pause flows, then importIn Audience > Lists & segments, open the list and pause any flow it starts. Then open Manage list, select Import contacts and upload the CSV. Unless everyone said yes to marketing, select Only import the consent in my file.
- 4
Check the import historyImports can take a couple of hours. Check the import history for skipped people, fix the errors, then turn your flows back on.
Where the Klaviyo NetSuite integration stops
Getting people into Klaviyo is the easy part. Keeping the lists and emails right is harder.
Orders have to arrive as events. Klaviyo starts flows and counts sales from order events, like Placed Order. Its developer guide says a business whose system has no pre-built Klaviyo integration sends those events through Klaviyo's API. SyncApps and a CSV import move people and lists, not each order. Until something sends a phone or wholesale order from NetSuite, that customer can still get the win-back email.
One side always wins. Cazoomi's page says NetSuite takes precedence over Klaviyo, and data comes from Klaviyo only for emails NetSuite doesn't have yet, unless Update Field Mapping is on. A typo in NetSuite reaches Klaviyo on the next sync, and new field mapping means pressing Reset Sync Process so everything sends again.
Imports don't handle consent for you. Klaviyo's help says uploads don't trigger double opt-in, can take a couple of hours, and can't bulk-reset people to Never Subscribed. It says to pause flows the list starts, then wait a few hours after importing before turning them back on.
Order searches trip up zaps. Zapier's help says a saved search with one row per order line makes the NetSuite trigger fail until someone sets which columns make each row unique. A thread in Zapier's community shows another trap: a saved search trigger that found nothing until Internal ID was added to the results.
So someone still checks who is on which list, sends the phone orders across, and turns flows back on after each import.
The agents that do it
Each agent does one job from start to finish. Your team talks to them in Slack or Teams.
Mail people who read it, and land in more inboxes.
- Finds people who haven't opened in monthsevery week
- Moves them to a win-back list, or stops mailing themper your rules
- Reports list size and healthevery Monday
Know which emails make money without building the report.
- Pulls what each campaign and flow earnedevery Monday
- Compares it to last weekevery Monday
- Sends the report to the ownerMonday morning
Questions
Is my customers' information safe?
Yes. Agents work in your own Klaviyo and NetSuite and see only what their job needs. Customer details never go into public AI. Agents connect to AI through business-grade connections audited under SOC 2.
Does Klaviyo integrate with NetSuite?
Yes, through outside apps. Cazoomi's SyncApps, a Celigo template and Zapier zaps all connect the two. You can also export a NetSuite saved search and import it to a Klaviyo list.
Can a NetSuite order start a Klaviyo flow?
Yes, if it reaches Klaviyo as an event. A Zapier zap can create a Klaviyo event from a new NetSuite record, and a flow can start from it. Cazoomi says SyncApps can start an autoresponder when a NetSuite field changes.
Do unsubscribes go back to NetSuite?
Not with a CSV import. Cazoomi says SyncApps can map Klaviyo opt-outs to a custom field in NetSuite, and Celigo's template saves Klaviyo exclusions as NetSuite contacts.
What does it cost?
You get the price on the call, along with the hours it saves your team.
