You make the key in your own NetSuite account. Nothing to install on your computers, and nothing to wait for.
Where
In NetSuite, your admin turns on Token-based Authentication under Setup, Company, Enable Features, SuiteCloud. Then they create an integration record under Setup, Integration, Manage Integrations, and a token for the role the agents use.
Who can do it
A NetSuite Administrator, or a user with the Integration Application permission.
Plan
Any NetSuite account. It is all set up in your own account, with no Oracle approval. From release 2027.1 Oracle moves new connections to OAuth 2.0, which your admin also sets up.

Agents can't
- See or change anything outside the role your admin gives them.
- Sign in with a staff password. The agents use their own token.
- Get back in after your admin revokes the token or blocks the integration.
