Two review apps, side by side

OkendoYotpo
The short answer

Okendo vs Yotpo comes down to where you sell and what you want in one place. Okendo is a Shopify app with five products under one roof: reviews, loyalty, referrals, quizzes and surveys, priced by monthly orders. Yotpo Reviews has Free, Starter, Pro, Premium and Enterprise plans, works on Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and sells Loyalty separately. Where both stop: a review request only goes out when the order reaches the app with the right status, each order is asked once, and neither tells you which shipped orders never got a request. AI agents check that for you, as the operations layer around either app.

Okendo vs Yotpo: what each one is

Okendo's Shopify App Store listing calls it a unified platform with 5 connected apps: reviews, loyalty, surveys, quizzes and referrals. It collects photo and video reviews, runs points and VIP tiers, and sends reviews to Shop, Google, TikTok and Walmart. Its pricing page sets plans by how many orders you get each month, and offers the products alone, in bundles, or all together. On the App Store it lists Free, Essential, Growth and Power plans.

Yotpo's Shopify listing describes its app as a way to collect and display product reviews and ratings. It collects reviews by email and text, shows them on your site with photos, videos and AI review summaries, and sends them to Google and to other sales channels. Its pricing page lists Free, Starter, Pro, Premium and Enterprise plans for Reviews. Loyalty and Referrals is a separate Yotpo product, which can be bundled with Reviews.

Okendo or Yotpo for a Shopify store: how to tell which fits

Start with two questions. Do you sell only on Shopify? And do you want loyalty, quizzes and surveys from the same company as your reviews?

If you run on Shopify and want reviews, a points program and a product quiz in one account, Okendo is built around that. Its pricing page says all loyalty and quiz features come on all plans, and its importer can read a Yotpo export if you switch.

If you sell on more than one platform, or want reviews sent to other sales channels from the same company, Yotpo is built around that. Its higher Reviews plans are quoted for your business, and Loyalty is there when you want it.

Both list a free plan. Try each one on a month of your own orders, and count how many requests went out and how many reviews came back.

What still takes the hours in Okendo or Yotpo

A review request only goes out when the app gets the order the right way. Okendo's guide says an order joins its email sequence only once it is marked paid and fulfilled, and only once. Orders with no email, and canceled or refunded ones, are left out. Timing by delivery needs the Growth plan or above and tracking through Shopify or AfterShip; without a delivery date, Okendo falls back to a wait after fulfillment. Yotpo's FAQ says it pulls the last 24 hours of orders once a day, each order once, and only with the right status for your platform. Orders older than 180 days are never asked.

So an order that's late to fulfill, marked with the wrong status, or missed on the day Yotpo pulls it may never get a request, and nothing tells you.

Store owners notice it. In Okendo's low reviews on the Shopify App Store from 2025 to October 2026, merchants wrote about review request emails that never arrived and slow support. In Yotpo's low reviews over the same time, they wrote about slow or AI-only support, features moved to higher plans, requests they couldn't resend, and review counts that fell.

Neither app gives you one list of shipped orders that never got asked. Someone has to compare orders in Shopify to the requests in the app, by hand.

What agents do in either one

AI agents work as the operations layer around your review app. Each day they check that shipped orders reached Okendo or Yotpo, and add the ones that are missing so the request goes out. They match each low rating to the order behind it and open a ticket for your support team with the order details, and they send a weekly list of products whose ratings are slipping.

Your team keeps the voice of the store. Replies to unhappy reviewers, and anything else your rules keep for a person, go to the owner in one message.

Questions

Is my customers' information safe?

Yes. Agents work in your own Okendo or Yotpo account and your store, and see only the orders and reviews their job needs. Customer details never go into public AI. Agents connect to AI through business-grade connections audited under SOC 2.

Is Okendo better than Yotpo?

It depends on how you sell. Okendo puts reviews, loyalty, referrals, quizzes and surveys in one Shopify app. Yotpo works on more store platforms and sells Loyalty as its own product. Both have a 4.8 rating on the Shopify App Store.

Can I move my reviews from Yotpo to Okendo?

Yes. Okendo's importer reads Yotpo exports. Photos and videos have to be at a public web address, and the verified buyer mark only stays if you set it in the file, so check a few reviews after the import.

Why are my review requests not being sent?

In Okendo, check that the order is paid and fulfilled, has an email, and that a sequence is running; only one can run at a time. In Yotpo, check that the order reached Yotpo with a status it pulls, and give it 5 to 7 days before you contact support.

What does it cost?

You get the price on the call, along with the hours it saves your team.
