To connect NetSuite and Stripe, you have three options. The main Stripe integration with NetSuite is Stripe's own Stripe Connector for NetSuite, once called SuiteSync. Its full version brings Stripe payments, refunds and payouts into NetSuite. Its free version only adds a Stripe pay link to NetSuite invoices. Or you can build Zapier zaps. Where it stops: one payment that won't sync holds up the day's deposit, and refunds don't tie back to invoice lines. AI agents check it each day and tell finance what needs a person.
Why a Stripe integration with NetSuite matters
Your customers pay through Stripe. Your books live in NetSuite. With no link, someone types each payment into NetSuite, marks the invoice paid, and tries to match Stripe's payout to the bank. Fees, refunds and disputes make each month end harder.
So a good connection does two things. It puts each Stripe payment, refund and fee into NetSuite on the right invoice and account. And it checks that what landed in the bank is what NetSuite expects, so finance only looks at what's off.
Three ways to connect NetSuite and Stripe
Two are versions of Stripe's own connector. One is a zap you build yourself.
Stripe Connector for NetSuite, full version
- How it works
- Stripe built this connector. It brings Stripe payments, invoices and customers into NetSuite. Each day it makes a NetSuite bank deposit for each Stripe payout, with its payments, refunds and disputes, and puts fees on their own lines.
- Good for
- NetSuite companies with lots of Stripe payments that want cash matched in NetSuite without typing.
- Where it breaks
- You get it through Stripe: you install the app and ask for a demo. You still match each deposit to your bank statement, and a deposit waits until all its payments sync (more below).
The free payment link version
- How it works
- You set it up yourself. It adds a Stripe payment link to your NetSuite invoices, so customers can pay an invoice through Stripe.
- Good for
- Companies that bill from NetSuite and want customers to pay by card or bank online.
- Where it breaks
- Stripe says the free version doesn't bring payments or other data into NetSuite. Someone still records each payment and matches each payout.
A Zapier zap
- How it works
- NetSuite is a Premium app on Zapier. Its ready-made zaps update NetSuite when a Stripe payment comes in, add new Stripe customers, and log failed Stripe payments.
- Good for
- One simple rule, like a new Stripe customer showing up in NetSuite.
- Where it breaks
- Each zap is one trigger and one action, and none of them match a payout to the bank. In Zapier's community, people find the Stripe payment trigger sometimes has no customer email, so the zap can't find the right customer.
Arkeo agents
- How it works
- Agents read each day's Stripe payments, refunds, disputes and payouts, check them against NetSuite, add a note on the customer when something doesn't match, and send finance a short list of what needs a person.
- Good for
- Finance teams where Stripe and NetSuite have to agree, and nobody has the hours to check.
- Where it breaks
- Anything your rules keep for a person, like a dispute or a large refund, goes to finance in one message.
How to set up the Stripe Connector for NetSuite
Stripe's install guide has the full screens. The full version starts the same way, then Stripe sets it up with you.
- 1
Install the appCopy your Account ID from Business settings in Stripe. Then click Install app on the Stripe Connector for NetSuite page in the Stripe App Marketplace.
- 2
Turn on two NetSuite featuresAt Setup > Company > Enabled Features, turn on SOAP web services and token-based authentication. It can take a day to take effect.
- 3
Add Stripe's role and a tokenInstall the Stripe Token Based Authentication bundle, give its Stripe Limited Access role to one employee, and enter an access token in the app's App Settings.
- 4
Add the pay link and test one invoiceInstall the Stripe Invoice Payment Page bundle, add its field to your invoice forms, and turn it on. Then pay one test invoice through the link.
- 5
For the full version, set payouts to automaticDeposit matching needs automatic payouts in Stripe. Stripe suggests a daily schedule.
Where the Stripe NetSuite integration stops
The full connector does a lot of the cash work. What's left sits between the two programs, and Stripe's own help pages spell out most of it.
One bad payment holds up the whole deposit. Stripe checks each payment, refund and dispute in a payout first. If one fails, say because someone put it on a deposit by hand, the whole payout waits until a person fixes that record.
Refunds don't tie back to invoice lines. Stripe doesn't link a refund to the items on an invoice, so a partial refund on a multi-item invoice comes in as a general Stripe Partial Refund Item. Refunds on payments from before your sync start date are entered by hand.
Bank payments look paid before they clear. Stripe says payments like ACH Direct Debit count as paid right away. If one fails days later, the connector reverses it and the invoice is open again.
Small changes break it. Stripe's error guide lists a deleted bank account, a removed default value, a new currency with no account, and records in the wrong subsidiary. Each one stops that record or payout until a person fixes it. So most weeks, someone in finance reads the error list, fixes the records, and checks the deposits against the bank by hand.
The agents that do it
Each agent does one job from start to finish: some in your NetSuite, some in your Stripe, passing the work between them.

Questions
Is my customers' information safe?
Yes. Agents work in your own NetSuite and Stripe and see only what their job needs. Customer details never go into public AI. Agents connect to AI through business-grade connections audited under SOC 2.
Does Stripe have a NetSuite integration?
Yes. Stripe makes the Stripe Connector for NetSuite, which was called SuiteSync. It comes in a free version for invoice payment links and a full version that brings Stripe data into NetSuite.
What's the difference between the free and full Stripe to NetSuite integration?
The free version lets customers pay NetSuite invoices through Stripe. The full version also brings Stripe payments and billing into NetSuite and builds the bank deposits.
Can Stripe payouts match NetSuite bank deposits?
With the full connector, yes. It makes a NetSuite bank deposit for each Stripe payout, with fees on their own lines.
What does it cost?
You get the price on the call, along with the hours it saves your team.
