NetSuite numbers in your sheet, and sheet rows in NetSuite

Google SheetsNetSuite
The short answer

There is no NetSuite Google Sheets integration built into either program, so you have four ways to do it: export a saved search from NetSuite and import it into Sheets, load a sheet with the NetSuite Import Assistant, add a Google Sheets add-on that pulls saved searches, or use Zapier. All four move rows. Where it stops: an export is a copy that is old by the next order, an import takes 25,000 records at most and stops on errors, and a zap can miss rows once someone sorts or deletes lines in the sheet. None of them check that the sheet and NetSuite still match. AI agents move the rows, check them, and tell you what doesn't match.

Why people connect Google Sheets and NetSuite

NetSuite holds your orders, stock, invoices and customers. But a lot of the work happens in a sheet: the sales plan, the reorder list, the weekly report. So the same numbers live in two places, and someone has to keep them the same.

A good NetSuite Google Sheets integration does two jobs. It gets fresh NetSuite numbers into the sheet without anyone copying them. And it puts sheet rows, like new orders or price changes, into NetSuite and tells you about any row it could not load.

Four ways to connect Google Sheets and NetSuite

Two come built into NetSuite and Google Sheets. Two are apps you add.

Export a saved search, then import it into Sheets

How it works
Run a saved search in NetSuite and click Export - CSV. Then in Google Sheets, click File, then Import, and add the file.
Good for
A report you need once a week or once a month, like open orders or stock by location.
Where it breaks
It is a copy, not a link. The sheet is out of date the minute someone changes an order in NetSuite.

Load a sheet with the NetSuite Import Assistant

How it works
Save the tab as a CSV file and load it at Setup, then Import/Export, then Import CSV Records. The Import Assistant walks you through matching its columns to NetSuite fields.
Good for
Loading many rows at once, like a price list, new customers or a batch of orders.
Where it breaks
The file has to be in the exact shape NetSuite expects, each job takes 25,000 records at most, and rows that fail are fixed by hand.

A Google Sheets add-on

How it works
Add-ons in the Google Workspace Marketplace, like the GURUS NetSuite Data Exporter, run the saved searches you name and put the results in your sheet.
Good for
Teams who build reports in Sheets from the same saved searches each week.
Where it breaks
It brings numbers in. It doesn't check them or send changes back, and GURUS has to set up a bundle in your NetSuite first.

A Zapier zap

How it works
Zapier's ready-made zaps create Google Sheets rows for new NetSuite records, or create and update NetSuite records from new sheet rows. NetSuite is a Premium app on Zapier.
Good for
Simple jobs that run one row at a time, like logging each new sales order in a sheet.
Where it breaks
Zapier's help says sorting or deleting rows, or renaming a column, can stop a zap. Then the sheet and NetSuite drift apart until someone spots it.

Arkeo agents

How it works
Agents read orders, stock and invoices in NetSuite and write the numbers into your sheets each day. When sheet rows need to go into NetSuite, agents enter them, then read them back to check them against the sheet.
Good for
Teams that run on sheets but need NetSuite to stay the record.
Where it breaks
Anything your rules keep for a person, like a large order or a row that doesn't match a customer, goes to your team in one message.

How to connect Google Sheets to NetSuite by hand

Oracle and Google have the full screens.

  1. 1

    Export a saved search

Build a saved search with the columns you want, plus Internal ID. Run it and click Export - CSV.

Oracle's page on exporting search results →

  2. 2

Import the file into Google Sheets

Click File, then Import, and add the CSV. Use Append rows to current sheet for a running list, or Replace current sheet for a fresh copy.

    Google's import help →

  3. 3

Get sheet rows ready for NetSuite

Going the other way, give each NetSuite field its own column and download the tab as a CSV. Keep each file to 25,000 records or fewer.

    Oracle's CSV file rules →

  4. 4

    Run the Import Assistant

Go to Setup, then Import/Export, then Import CSV Records. Match each column to a field and save the mapping. Then fix any rows that failed.

Where the NetSuite Google Sheets integration stops

All four move rows. None of them notice when the sheet and NetSuite stop agreeing.

A copy starts going old right away. Oracle's export makes a CSV or Excel file with no link back, so a sheet built Monday shows Monday's orders on Friday. Someone reruns the search and imports again, and a Replace current sheet import wipes notes the team typed in.

Imports have a ceiling and stop on errors. Oracle caps each Import Assistant job at 25,000 records or 50 MB. The Assistant won't go past a step with errors, so one bad column holds up the whole load.

Zaps lose their place. Zapier keeps track of which rows it has handled, and its help page says deleting rows, sorting, adding rows in the middle, or renaming a column or tab can stop the zap or make it miss rows. Threads in Zapier's community describe Sheets zaps that pass the test and then don't fire. People sort and delete rows in sheets all day.

Add-ons read, they don't check. The GURUS add-on pulls saved searches into the sheet. The free trial allows 10 searches a day, and it runs on a schedule only in the paid edition.

So someone still compares the sheet's totals to NetSuite, finds the order that is on one side and not the other, and fixes it by hand.

The agents that do it

Each agent does one job from start to finish in your own NetSuite. Your team talks to them in Slack or Teams.

Questions

Is my customers' information safe?

Yes. Agents work in your own NetSuite and Google Sheets and see only what their job needs. Customer details never go into public AI. Agents connect to AI through business-grade connections audited under SOC 2.

Does NetSuite have a Google Sheets integration?

Not built in. NetSuite exports search results as files and imports CSV files with the Import Assistant. To link the two, you add an app, like a Sheets add-on or Zapier.

Can I export a NetSuite saved search straight to Google Sheets?

Not from NetSuite itself. Export a CSV, then use File, then Import in Sheets. Marketplace add-ons can run the saved search for you.

Can I update NetSuite from a Google Sheet?

Yes. Save the tab as a CSV file and load it with the Import Assistant, up to 25,000 records a job. Zapier also has zaps that create or update NetSuite records from new rows in a sheet.

What does it cost?

You get the price on the call, along with the hours it saves your team.
