An Attio HubSpot integration takes one of two shapes. If you are moving, Attio's Migrate CRM button runs a free Import2 migration that copies companies, people, deals, notes and tasks from HubSpot. If you keep both, say HubSpot for marketing and Attio for sales, a two-way sync app like Outfunnel keeps contacts matched, and Zapier can carry other changes. Where it stops: the migration won't update records Attio already has, reports and workflows don't come across, the sync covers contacts only, and deal stages drift between the two. Someone still checks both by hand. AI agents do that work.
What an Attio HubSpot integration has to do
Many teams at software companies end up with both. HubSpot runs the forms, emails and marketing lists. Attio is where sales works the deals. Or a team is moving from one to the other and can't stop selling for a month while it happens.
Either way, connected has to mean one truth. A contact who fills in a HubSpot form should show up in Attio once, not twice. A deal that closes in Attio should tell marketing to stop sending trial emails. And when the move is done, nothing important should be left behind in the old system.
Ways to connect Attio and HubSpot
Attio's help center describes the migration. Outfunnel's and Zapier's pages describe the sync options.
Attio's Import2 migration
- How it works
- In Attio, Workspace settings has a Migrate CRM page with a Migrate button next to HubSpot. It runs Import2, which Attio says is free for its users. It copies companies, people, deals, custom objects, notes, tasks and files, and you can run a sample first.
- Good for
- Teams leaving HubSpot for Attio as their CRM.
- Where it breaks
- Attio's help says it needs a paid Attio plan and an admin, call recordings aren't included, and it won't update records that already exist in Attio; it only adds their notes and tasks. If your mailboxes already made people in Attio, you remove the mailboxes and delete those records first.
Outfunnel two-way contact sync
- How it works
- Outfunnel's guide sets up a contact sync between Attio and HubSpot, one way or both, for all contacts or chosen lists, with field by field direction and a rule for which app wins a conflict. It matches people by email.
- Good for
- Teams that keep HubSpot for marketing and Attio for sales, and want the same contacts in both.
- Where it breaks
- The guide covers contacts only; deals and companies aren't in it, and syncing email activity from HubSpot is listed as coming soon. It says most data syncs right away and some within 2 hours. A contact that stops matching your rules stops updating but isn't deleted.
A Zapier zap
- How it works
- Zapier lists HubSpot triggers like New Contact, New Form Submission and Updated Deal Stage, and Attio actions like Create or Update Record, Create Note and Create Task. It works the other way too, from Attio's Record Updated trigger.
- Good for
- One clear hand-off, like each HubSpot form fill becoming an Attio record with a task for sales.
- Where it breaks
- Each object and direction is its own zap. Zapier's help says polling triggers check every 15 minutes on the Free plan, and zaps don't run on records made before you turned them on.
Arkeo agents
- How it works
- Agents watch both systems, add new leads to the right one once, log calls and notes, keep the deal stage the same in both, and send a short list of anything that doesn't match to your team.
- Good for
- Teams running both CRMs, or halfway through a move, who can't afford lost leads.
- Where it breaks
- Anything your rules keep for a person, like merging two records for a large customer, goes to the owner in one message.
How to move HubSpot data into Attio
These follow Attio's own migration guide. Open it for the screens.
- 1
Get Attio readyTurn on the Deals object if you are moving deals. Check that phone numbers have a country code and websites are root domains, like example.com.
- 2
Clear records your mailboxes madeImport2 won't update people and companies that already exist. To bring their HubSpot details across, each person removes their synced mailbox, and an admin deletes those records first.
- 3
Start the migration
Go to Workspace settings, then Migrate CRM, and click Migrate next to HubSpot. Log in to Import2 and connect HubSpot and Attio.
- 4
Run a sample, then the full moveRun a sample migration, check the new fields in Attio, and fix the mapping. Then run the full migration. You can undo it if it goes wrong.
- 5
Reconnect mail, and sync what you keepHave everyone reconnect their mailbox. If HubSpot stays for marketing, set up a contact sync so new leads reach Attio.
Where the Attio HubSpot integration stops
Each option moves some of the data. None of them keeps the two systems telling the same story.
The migration is a copy, not a sync. Attio's guide says Import2 makes new records and, for people and companies already in Attio, adds only notes and tasks. Anything that changes in HubSpot after the move doesn't follow.
Reports and workflows stay behind. A migration firm's HubSpot to Attio guide says HubSpot reports and workflows don't carry over and have to be rebuilt, and that tickets have no direct match in Attio. The same guide warns that HubSpot accounts carry duplicates from form fills and email sync, so cleaning comes first.
Running both means deals drift. Outfunnel's guide covers contacts only. A deal moved to Closed Won in Attio doesn't change anything in HubSpot, so marketing can keep sending trial emails to a new customer. Building zaps for deals and stages means a zap for each direction, checked on a timer.
Someone has to build the links and keep them working. In a RevOps community thread on moving from HubSpot to Attio, the people who answered came back to the same point: who builds the integrations and maintains them after the move. Attio's own integrations are limited, so teams end up managing a Zapier zap for each one it doesn't have.
Matching is by email. Outfunnel links contacts by email address, and when several records share one, it links the oldest. A person with a work email in one system and a personal one in the other becomes two people.
So someone still compares the two each week, merges the doubles and fixes the stages by hand.
Move, or run both?
If sales and marketing can work in one system, moving is less work over a year than keeping two in step. Our Attio vs HubSpot article covers what each one does best.
If you keep both, decide which system owns each thing: contacts, deals, and stages. Then make each other copy read from that one. The same rule applies when you run HubSpot next to Salesforce.
The agents that do it
Each agent does one job from start to finish, in your own Attio and HubSpot. Your team talks to them in Slack or Teams.

Questions
Is my customers' information safe?
Yes. Agents work in your own Attio and HubSpot and see only what their job needs. Customer details never go into public AI. Agents connect to AI through business-grade connections audited under SOC 2.
Can I import HubSpot into Attio?
Yes. In Attio, go to Workspace settings, then Migrate CRM, and click Migrate next to HubSpot. Attio's help says the Import2 migration is free for Attio users and needs a paid Attio plan.
Does Attio sync with HubSpot both ways?
Not by itself. Outfunnel's guide shows a two-way contact sync between them, and Zapier can carry other changes one zap at a time.
What doesn't move from HubSpot to Attio?
Attio's help says call recordings aren't included. A migration firm's guide adds that HubSpot reports and workflows don't carry over and have to be rebuilt.
What does it cost?
You get the price on the call, along with the hours it saves your team.
