How to connect WooCommerce to HubSpot

A WooCommerce integration with HubSpot, three ways: the HubSpot for WooCommerce plugin by MakeWebBetter, Zapier, or a CSV import, where each one stops, and how AI agents keep orders and contacts right in HubSpot.

WooCommerce orders and customers, right in HubSpot

WooCommerceHubSpot
The short answer

The usual WooCommerce integration with HubSpot is the HubSpot for WooCommerce plugin by MakeWebBetter. HubSpot's own WordPress plugin page points store owners to it. You install it in WordPress, go to WooCommerce, then HubSpot, and click Connect Your Account. It sends customers, orders and products from WooCommerce into HubSpot, with orders as deals. Where it stops: data goes one way, into HubSpot. Stores on WooCommerce's newer order storage need a paid add-on. A new deal stage needs the account connected again. On HubSpot's free plan, product data is limited. Nobody checks that each order made it across. AI agents do that work.

What a WooCommerce integration with HubSpot has to do

WooCommerce holds the orders. HubSpot holds the customer and what your sales and marketing team does next. If the two don't match, a customer who just spent a lot gets a welcome email, an abandoned cart reminder goes to someone who already paid, or a sales rep calls a buyer with no idea what they ordered.

So connected has to mean that each customer is one contact in HubSpot, each order shows up as a deal at the right stage, and changes come across soon after they happen. The plugin below does most of that. Checking that it kept doing it is the part people still do by hand.

Three ways to connect HubSpot and WooCommerce

Most stores need only the first one. Zapier fills gaps. A CSV import is a one-time move.

HubSpot for WooCommerce by MakeWebBetter

How it works
A WordPress plugin, listed on the HubSpot Marketplace and on WordPress.org. It syncs WooCommerce customers as contacts, orders as deals and products as products. It maps each order status to a deal stage, tracks abandoned carts and can send your past orders over in one go.
Good for
Most WooCommerce stores that want orders, carts and customers in HubSpot for email and sales follow-up. This is the main connection, and HubSpot's own WordPress plugin page points to it.
Where it breaks
The HubSpot listing shows data going one way, from WooCommerce into HubSpot. The listing says it needs a MakeWebBetter subscription, and stores on WooCommerce's newer order storage (HPOS) need a paid add-on. On WordPress.org, reviews from 2024 and 2026 say the free plugin didn't work until they paid for that add-on.

A Zapier zap

How it works
Zapier can start from a WooCommerce order, customer, coupon or subscription that is created or changed, and then create or update a contact, deal or product in HubSpot. It also works the other way, from a HubSpot contact or deal stage to a WooCommerce order note or customer.
Good for
A store that needs one thing the plugin doesn't do, like a note on the order when a deal moves in HubSpot.
Where it breaks
Zapier checks HubSpot for new data every 15 minutes on its free plan. You build and test each step yourself, and you have to keep the plugin and the zap from making the same contact twice.

Export a CSV and import it

How it works
Export customers and orders from WooCommerce and import the file into HubSpot as contacts and deals.
Good for
A one-time move when you first set up HubSpot.
Where it breaks
It is a snapshot. Each order after the export is missing until someone does it again.

Arkeo agents

How it works
Agents compare the day's WooCommerce orders with the deals in HubSpot and fill in any that are missing. They merge duplicate contacts, move deals when an order is refunded or cancelled, and post what they found to your team.
Good for
Stores where sales or marketing follows up on orders in HubSpot, so a missing or wrong deal costs a sale.
Where it breaks
Refunds and anything your rules keep for a person go to the owner to approve.

  6. 6

    Check a few orders

Place a test order, then refund one. Check that the contact, the deal and the deal stage show up right in HubSpot.

Where the WooCommerce HubSpot integration stops

The plugin moves your store data into HubSpot on a timer. Whether all of it arrived, and whether it is still right a month later, is left to you.

It goes one way. The HubSpot listing shows contacts, orders and products flowing from WooCommerce into HubSpot. A rep who changes a deal stage in HubSpot doesn't change the order in WooCommerce.

It runs on a schedule, and slow sites fall behind. MakeWebBetter's guide says its scheduler sends changes every 5 minutes. Its FAQ says stores with over 1,000 contacts may find syncing takes a while. A 2025 review on WordPress.org says some orders came across and others didn't for a day or two, because the site's scheduled tasks were slow.

HPOS needs an add-on. WooCommerce's newer order storage, HPOS, needs a paid MakeWebBetter add-on. Reviews from 2024 and 2026 say the free plugin asked for it during setup, and one calls it an expensive upsell.

Deal stages drift. The guide says a new deal stage in HubSpot doesn't show until you connect the account again. It also notes that HubSpot moves a deal in the pending stage to checkout abandoned after 24 hours.

Product data depends on your HubSpot plan, and the guide gives two answers. One says the free plan syncs no product data and no line items. Another lists a few product fields it does sync.

And the logs that would show a failed sync are deleted after 30 days. Nobody gets told when an order didn't arrive.

Questions

Is my customers' information safe?

Yes. Agents work in your own WooCommerce store and HubSpot account and see only what their job needs. Customer details never go into public AI. Agents connect to AI through business-grade connections audited under SOC 2.

Does HubSpot integrate with WooCommerce?

Yes, through the HubSpot for WooCommerce plugin by MakeWebBetter. It is listed on the HubSpot Marketplace, and HubSpot's own WordPress plugin page points WooCommerce store owners to it. It syncs customers, orders as deals, products and abandoned carts.

Is there a HubSpot WooCommerce integration pro version?

MakeWebBetter sells paid add-ons for the plugin, like HPOS compatibility and Field To Field Sync. The HubSpot Marketplace listing says the app needs a MakeWebBetter subscription. Check its listing for what each plan includes.

How often does the HubSpot WooCommerce plugin sync?

MakeWebBetter's guide says its scheduler sends changes to HubSpot every 5 minutes. A store with a lot of contacts, or a site with slow scheduled tasks, can take longer.

What does it cost?

You get the price on the call, along with the hours it saves your team.
