The monday.com HubSpot integration is made by monday.com. You add it to a board with the Integrate button, and its templates bring HubSpot contacts, companies and deals into monday.com as items. It is on monday.com's Standard, Pro and Enterprise plans. Zapier is the other way, for rules like a new project when a deal is won. Where it stops: only HubSpot's default fields stay in sync, one HubSpot account can be connected by one monday.com user, and on the HubSpot Marketplace it averages 2.1 stars, with reviewers calling it too basic. Nobody sets up the project. AI agents do that work.
What the monday.com HubSpot integration has to do
Sales closes the deal in HubSpot. Then the work happens in monday.com: the kickoff, the tasks, the dates, the owner. When the two are apart, someone copies the client's details onto a new board by hand, the team hears about a new client days late, and the rep can't see how the work is going.
So connected has to mean that a won deal turns into a client board with owners and dates, and that the people in HubSpot can see where the work stands. monday.com's integration gets deals and contacts onto a board. Setting up the work is still done by hand.
Two ways to connect monday.com and HubSpot
monday.com makes the first. Zapier is the second, and you can use both.
monday.com's HubSpot integration
- How it works
- On a board, you click Integrate, find HubSpot, and add a template that brings HubSpot contacts, companies or deals in as items. You map HubSpot fields to board columns, and monday.com adds an integration column that keeps each item linked to its HubSpot record.
- Good for
- Teams that want HubSpot contacts or deals on a monday.com board without building anything.
- Where it breaks
- monday.com says only HubSpot's default fields stay in sync after an item is made, Deal Owner comes across as an ID number, and it doesn't advise more than one HubSpot template per board. On the HubSpot Marketplace it averages 2.1 stars from 64 ratings, and a 2026 review calls it too basic, with no first sync of items.
A Zapier zap
- How it works
- Zapier has HubSpot steps like Updated Deal Stage and New Deal, and monday.com steps like Create Item, Create Subitem and Specific Column Value Changed in Board. You build each zap yourself.
- Good for
- Teams that want one rule monday.com's templates don't have, like a new item only when a deal reaches Closed won.
- Where it breaks
- Each case is a zap you build and keep up. Making a full client board with tasks, owners and dates takes many steps, and when one fails, someone fixes it by hand.
Arkeo agents
- How it works
- Agents see when a deal is won in HubSpot, make the client board from your template with owners and dates, chase anything past its date, and send each client a short weekly update.
- Good for
- Service firms and agencies where each won deal starts a project, and the handoff from sales takes days.
- Where it breaks
- Anything your rules keep for a person, like changing a client's scope, goes to the owner in one message.
How to set up the monday com and HubSpot integration
These follow monday.com's own guide. Open it for the screens.
- 1
Check your plan and your HubSpot rolemonday.com says the integration is on its Standard, Pro and Enterprise plans, and not on its AU server. You need to be a Super Admin in HubSpot to set it up.
- 2
Add HubSpot to a boardOpen the board you want, click Integrate in the upper right, and find HubSpot. Add the template that brings in the HubSpot records you need, like new deals or new contacts.
- 3
Connect HubSpot and map the fieldsSign in to HubSpot when asked. Then match each HubSpot field to a board column. Any field can fill a new item, but only default fields, like Deal Stage, Amount and Close Date, keep updating after that.
- 4
Leave the integration column alonemonday.com adds an integration column that keeps each item linked to HubSpot. It can't be edited. Use one HubSpot template per board, and add others on other boards.
- 5
Add a zap for the won dealIf you want a project only when a deal is won, build a zap with HubSpot's Updated Deal Stage and monday.com's Create Item, then test it with one deal.
Where the HubSpot monday.com integration stops
The integration puts HubSpot records on a board. Turning a won deal into a project, and telling sales how it's going, is still a person's job.
Custom fields stop at the first copy. monday.com's guide says any HubSpot field can fill a new item, but the sync after that covers only HubSpot's default fields. If your deals carry a service type, a start date or a contract length in custom fields, a change in HubSpot never reaches the board. And Deal Owner comes across as HubSpot's owner ID, not the person's name.
Reviewers rate it low. On the HubSpot Marketplace, the app averages 2.1 stars from 64 ratings, with three in four ratings at one or two stars. A 2026 review calls it too basic and says there is no first sync of items. Another 2026 review says it doesn't start work when a deal changes stage, so that team sets up its projects by hand.
One person owns the connection. monday.com says the same HubSpot account can't be connected by more than one monday.com user or account. For a second person to build one, all the others made by other users have to be deleted first. It also advises against more than one HubSpot template on a board.
It runs on a monthly count. monday.com counts each run against a monthly limit of actions, and a run that maps Status, People, Tag or Dropdown columns into a new item uses more than one. The Standard plan has 250 integration actions a month. monday.com says that once a month's actions are used, the account can't edit or add integrations, and a busy month can use up the next month's actions too. Someone has to watch the count.
And the board is empty work. A new item with a client's name is not a kickoff. Someone still builds the tasks, sets owners and dates, chases what's late, and tells the rep and the client where things stand.
The agents that do it
Each agent does one job from start to finish, in your own monday.com and HubSpot. Your team talks to them in Slack or Teams.

Questions
Is my customers' information safe?
Yes. Agents work in your own monday.com and HubSpot and see only what their job needs. Customer details never go into public AI. Agents connect to AI through business-grade connections audited under SOC 2.
Does monday.com integrate with HubSpot?
Yes. monday.com makes a HubSpot integration that brings HubSpot contacts, companies and deals onto a board as items. It is on monday.com's Standard, Pro and Enterprise plans, and you need to be a HubSpot Super Admin to set it up.
Do custom HubSpot fields sync to monday.com?
Only once. monday.com says any field, custom ones too, can fill a new item, but after that only HubSpot's default fields keep updating.
Can I make a monday.com project when a HubSpot deal is won?
Not with monday.com's templates alone. Reviewers on the HubSpot Marketplace say it doesn't act on a deal stage change. A Zapier zap with HubSpot's Updated Deal Stage and monday.com's Create Item can do it.
What does it cost?
