You make the key in your own Attentive account. Nothing to install on your computers, and nothing to wait for.

In Attentive, open Integrations and click Create App. Name it, set each area to Write or No Access, and copy the key it shows once.
Who can do it
Someone on your Attentive account who can open Integrations. If you can't reach the Attentive platform, Attentive's API team gives access by email.

Is my customers' information safe?
Yes. Each agent sees only what its job needs. Customer orders never go into public AI. Agents connect to AI through business-grade connections audited under SOC 2.
Do I need a special Attentive plan?
No. You make the key yourself in Integrations. If you can't reach the platform, Attentive gives access by email.
Will the agents send texts on their own?
They start the texts you already set up, like a shipping update. Your marketing team still writes the texts.
Can I turn it off?
Yes. Make a new key for the app in Attentive and the old one stops working. Deleting the app also stops any texts tied to it.
What does it cost?
