Your Pipedrive deals and your sheet, matched

Google SheetsPipedrive
The short answer

Pipedrive's Google Sheets integration runs through other companies' apps. Pipedrive's help center points to two: a Zapier template that makes a Pipedrive deal from each new sheet row, and Coefficient, a free app that pulls Pipedrive data into Sheets on a schedule. PipedriveSheets, in the Pipedrive Marketplace, can also push sheet edits back to Pipedrive. For a one-time move, Pipedrive imports and exports spreadsheet files. Where they stop: the zap makes a new deal for each row, so repeats become duplicates, pulled reports only show the data the user can see, and nobody checks the sheet and the pipeline still agree. AI agents keep both right and tell the owner what doesn't match.

Why a Google Sheets Pipedrive integration matters

Leads often start in a sheet: a list from an event, a form that writes to Sheets, a list someone bought. And reports often end in one, because owners want the pipeline in a sheet they can sort and share. Without a Google Sheets Pipedrive integration, someone copies rows into Pipedrive by hand, then copies deals back out for the Monday report.

A good connection does both jobs without making a mess. New rows become deals or leads once, not twice. And the report in the sheet shows the same numbers Pipedrive does, on the day you read it.

Four ways to connect Google Sheets to Pipedrive

The first two are the ones Pipedrive's own help center names.

Zapier

How it works
Pipedrive's help center links a Zapier template that saves new rows in Google Sheets as new deals in Pipedrive. You connect both accounts, test, and publish the zap. Other templates update deals from rows, or add a row for each new deal.
Good for
Leads from a form or list that lands in a sheet, one row at a time.
Where it breaks
The template makes a new deal for each new row, so a lead that comes in twice becomes two deals unless you add a search step. Zapier's help says rows have to be added at the bottom, and that sorting or deleting rows can make the zap miss some or run again.

Coefficient

How it works
A Google Sheets app that Pipedrive's help center calls a free integration. In the Coefficient sidebar you select Import From, then Pipedrive, then the fields you want. You set how often the data refreshes.
Good for
Pipeline reports and dashboards in Sheets that stay current without exporting by hand.
Where it breaks
Its Pipedrive Marketplace page describes pulling data into Sheets. It doesn't say it writes changes back to Pipedrive, so edits made in the sheet stay in the sheet.

PipedriveSheets

How it works
A Google Sheets app in the Pipedrive Marketplace. It pulls deals, people, organizations, activities, leads and products from your saved Pipedrive filters, and can push edits in a cell back to Pipedrive with a click. Refreshes can run from hourly to weekly.
Good for
Teams who want to clean up many deals in a sheet and send the changes back.
Where it breaks
Edits go back when someone clicks to push them. Its Marketplace page shows only a handful of reviews, so there is little public record of how it holds up.

Arkeo agents

How it works
Agents read new rows, check Pipedrive for the person or deal first, update it or add it, and write the weekly pipeline numbers back to the sheet. They flag rows and deals that don't agree.
Good for
Sales teams where leads arrive in sheets and owners report from sheets, and nobody has the hours to keep both right.
Where it breaks
Anything your rules keep for a person, like merging two deals or a row with no clear owner, goes to the deal owner in one message.

How to connect Google Sheets to Pipedrive

These follow Pipedrive's own help pages. Open them for the screens.

  1. 1

    Set up the sheet

Give the sheet one header row, one column for each Pipedrive field you need, and a column for the person or company name. Pipedrive needs a name on each person and a linked person or organization on each deal.

  2. 2

New rows to deals: turn on the Zapier template

Open the template from Pipedrive's guide and select Try this template. Sign in to Pipedrive and Google Sheets, test both, then select Publish.

  3. 3

Deals to a sheet: add Coefficient

Install Coefficient in Google Sheets. In its sidebar, select Import From, then Pipedrive, select your fields, and set how often it refreshes.

Coefficient in the Pipedrive Marketplace →

  4. 4

For a one-time move, import or export a file

Download the sheet as a CSV or Excel file. In Pipedrive, go to Tools and apps, then Import data, then Import from spreadsheet. To go the other way, use Export data, or Export filter results from a list view.

  5. 5

Check a week of deals by hand

After a week, look for deals with the same name or email, and compare the sheet's totals to Pipedrive's. Do it before you trust the report.

Where the Google Sheets and Pipedrive connection stops

Each app moves data one way, on its own terms. The work left is keeping two copies of your pipeline from drifting apart.

Rows become duplicates. The Zapier template Pipedrive links makes a new deal for each new row, and Pipedrive's guide doesn't say how it treats a lead that is already there. On Zapier's community forum, the answer staff gave for repeat runs from Pipedrive was to keep a log in a Google sheet, look up each deal by its ID, and compare the fields before going on. That is a second sheet someone has to build and keep.

The sheet breaks when people use it. Zapier's help says new rows only trigger at the bottom, and that sorting, deleting rows, or renaming a column or tab can make the zap lose track or run again on old rows.

Reports show only what one user can see. Pipedrive's export guide says you can only export the data that is visible to you, and that activities, notes and files linked to deals export separately. A report pulled under one person's login can leave deals out without saying so.

And no one checks. Coefficient pulls data in, it doesn't send edits back. PipedriveSheets sends edits back when someone clicks. In between, the sheet and Pipedrive can say different things, and a person has to notice.
